World War I

Two hundred and eighteen Ludlow residents served in the Armed forces during the First World War. Seven residents died in service to their country. They were: Doerr, C.E. (Lt. Col.), Dehore, Andrew (Pvt.), Fields, Brice F. (Cpl.), Hoskins, William (Pvt.), Ritchie, Edgar B. (Lt.), Wilcox, Harry (Pvt.), and White, Jeff (Pvt.).
