Ludlow native, born on July 15, 1949. The family lived at 223 Deverill
Street. Wilhoit attended the Ludlow Public schools, having graduated
from Ludlow High School in 1967. He played baseball, basketball and
football at Ludlow High School.
Wilhoit enlisted with the United States Marine Corp in 1967. He was
sent to Vietnam in December, 1967. On November 23, 1968, Wilhoit was
killed in action at Quang Nam, Vietnam. He was due to return home on
January 22, 1969.
Wilhoit was survived by his parents (Mr. And Mrs. Charles Horn), one
brother and four sisters.
