Bell, John

African American resident of Ludlow and Civil War veteran. Little is known about the early life of John Bell. He was born in Kentucky sometime between 1836 and 1846. He died on May 29, 1926 in Erlanger. His obituary listed him as a life-long resident of Ludlow and Boone Co. and as a Civil War veteran. Services were held at the home of Eva Favois, 86 Arcade Avenue, Ludlow. Bell is buried in a single plot at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.
