Reinhart, Carl

Carl Reinhart was a former mayor and councilman in the City of Bromley. He was born on February 3, 1921 and lived his entire adult life in Bromley. He served in the Navy during World War II as a mechanic in the Pacific Theater. Reinhart worked as an assembler at General Electric in Cincinnati. He retired in 1985 after 39 years with the company.

Carl Reinhart served on the Bromley City Council for over a decade. In 1972 he was elected mayor. He held another term at the mayor's post from 1981 to 1985. He also served for many years with the Bromley Volunteer Fire Department.
Reinhart was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Bromley where he was the superintendent of the Sunday school program. He was also a member of the Bromley Vets and the Ludlow Senior Citizens.

Carl Reinhart died on February 25, 1995 at the age of 74. He was survived by his widow, E. Louise Reinhart. He was also survived by four stepchildren: Michael harden, Dennis Harden, John Harden and Susan Harden. Funeral services were held at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Ludlow with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.
